"O Lord…may Thine ear be attentive to the prayer of Thy servant…and make Thy servant successful today."Nehemiah 1:11
Will Rogers once said that if you want to be successful, you need to know what you’re doing, love what you’re doing, and believe in what you’re doing. Sounds good. But I believe that a better – and biblical – definition of success is to know the will of God and to live right in the center of that will. That, and that alone, is true success. Everything else is failure.
Pray, as Nehemiah prayed, that God will grant you success. When we ask God for guidance, not only will He reveal His will to us, but he will also enable us to walk in it.
